Clare FM DJ Ross O'Donoghue this morning joined Model Lisa Nolan, Caroline Twohig, from TV3s FYI and Stephen Byrne, from RTE's The Juice to take part in the drinkaware.ie " Reclaim Your Challenge Weekend" in Lahinch Co Clare. Over the weekend the group have completed four outdoor advcenture activities, across four counties, with local DJ's from each county joining the challenge at different stages. This morning the group tried their hand at surfing with Bens Surf School lahinch. Pictured is Model Lisa Nolan checking out the surf on Lahinch Beach.
Last week drinkaware.ie launched ‘Reclaim Your Weekend’ a campaign which focuses on our style of drinking in Ireland. We’re drinking 20% less overall compared with a decade ago and we’re drinking less often, but when we drink, we drink too much and too fast. ‘ReclaimYourWeekend.ie’ has been created as a practical application to encourage and motivate people to pace their drinking on a Friday or Saturday night and in return enjoy doing something with friends or family the following day rather than doing nothing but nursing a hangover. ReclaimYourWeekend.ie offers information on things to do and places to go that cost nothing at all, as well as exclusive, attractively priced deals on events and activities across Ireland. ReclaimYourWeekend.ie also offers links to handy hints and tips on how to pace your drinking.
